From The Desk Of Hugh Smith
Date 12/29/2009 Ok... so if you've understood the example above you can clearly see that the money is lost when you buy the t-shirt and the printing (both) from your local printer instead of getting the blank t-shirt itself from an alternative source. For some reason, when you buy the two together, you get charged more... and the same is true with embroidery. Just think what you will save on more expensive projects where the blank shirt, jacket, bag, blanket (or other imprintable item) could cost more than $15.00 itself! I would suggest calling a local printer or embroiderer in your area to see exactly how these numbers play out for you. There are so many of them out there that do a quality job and are willing to take your shirts and just do the printing or embroidery that I'm surprised that more people don't do it this way already. So... put this method to the test and I am sure you'll find that it works. I hope it saves you some money and helps you to get greater control and visibility into your projects. And if you do... we'd be honored to be your primary blank goods provider. Take a close look at all of the blank goods we offer in our directblanks™ wholesale catalog. If you're like most of our customers, I think you'll find the prices and selection to be refreshing. If you have any questions about what we do, or how to get this method to work for you, I'm happy to have you call me any time. I know how to do it. I've done it thousands of times myself, so give me a call at the number below and I'll help you put the money back in your pocket. I hope to hear from you. Best Regards, |
